"Children and Media" is the ninth edition of Terry Talks, a curriculum of ongoing video presentations and supporting materials led by Terry Laura (Health Technical Advisor at Compassion International). The resources are aimed at equipping and encouraging health and child advocates to learn, build on and put into practice their expertise in health, especially as it relates to children in poverty. In this edition of Terry Talks, we will answer the critical question of how to help children navigate the influence of media and technology, providing you with practical steps to help children set healthy boundaries. This supplemental guide is packed with more valuable information to help you lead conversations about children’s media exposure and technology use so that you can help children understand how to respond to media and use technology in a healthy way. It also includes discussion questions that you can work through with your team to define how you can encourage and support children in your community to set healthy boundaries with media and technology.
