The lesson “Mother’s Health During Pregnancy” seeks to help the mother understand proper nutrition and hygiene during pregnancy. She will be able to identify changes in her diet that are necessary for a healthy pregnancy and understand the benefits of taking prenatal vitamins that are appropriate in her context. She will also learn about substances to avoid during pregnancy, especially substances that are common in her local community.
